Dr. Olufade, or “Dr. Alfy” (as his patients refer to him) has spent his career perfecting the art of movement and injury recovery through non-surgical orthopedic medicine and interventional spine therapy.
Whatever the sport, the goal, or the desired outcome, the main priority for Dr. Alfy is ensuring that all patients – at all ages – prevent and/or heal from injury, as quickly as possible. And he makes it his mission to help to develop lifestyle tools designed to help everyone lead a healthy, active life.
Mission
Dr. Alfy is an Emory sports medicine and interventional spine physician whose mission is to heal without surgery – to help athletes of all ages and levels get back to doing what they love sooner, stronger, and with the right tools to prevent future injuries.
Principles
Dr. Alfy’s Nigerian roots taught him the importance of empathy, camaraderie, respect, and the art of being a good listener – these are his guiding principles to practicing medicine.

Dr. Alfy is trusted by several athletic teams and organizations. He is currently a physician for U.S. Soccer, Atlanta Hawks, Emory University, and Northview High School. He is also actively involved in the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM), where he serves as chair for the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) subcommittee.
